The Vatican's newspaper has finally forgiven John Lennon for declaring that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, calling the remark a "boast" by a young man grappling with sudden fame.

- Finally forgiven? I wonder what Jesus thinks about a group of people that boast "His" authority taking more then 30 years to forgive someone. Jesus was put to death and forgave the Romans before he was even dead.
